Nothing like a break through to remind you how important it is to keep trying. 8 months of falling have taught me 3 very important things:
1. Love your body. Plus or minus 10 pounds… it’s still your body. Be kind. It could surprise you one day.
2. “Yoga is not about touching your toes, it’s what you learn on the way down.” -unknown
3. Anything can happen. ANYTHING.

Insanity: Round Two

My almost-husband and I are doing Insanity again. I’m really pleased with how it’s going. I’ve lost about 3 pounds and an inch from my waist. Week 3 is off to a great start.

1st Fit Test: August 23

Switch kicks - 90
Squat jacks - 36
Power knees - 70
Power jumps - 20
Around the world - 8
Suicide jumps - 15
Push up jacks - 15
Low plank obliques - 50

2nd Fit Test: September 8

Switch kicks - 108
Squat jacks - 42
Power knees - 95
Power jumps - 30
Around the world - 10
Suicide jumps - 17
Push up jacks - 21
Low plank obliques - 70
